OECS_HEADS_APPLAUDOECS Secretariat, Castries, St. Lucia, Monday December 20th 2010. On June 18, 2010, the OECS Member States of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines signed the Revised Treaty of Basseterre Establishing the OECS Economic Union, in order to pave the way for the deepening of OECS integration.

OECS_HEADS_APPLAUDCastries, St Lucia, Wednesday June 23rd, 2010. It started on June 18th 1981 when a group of countries in the Leeward and Windward islands committed to deepen cooperation among them by signing the Treaty of Basseterre that established the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, OECS.  Now, 29 years later, the Member States reinforced that commitment in Saint Lucia on OECS Day, Friday June 18th 2010, through the signing of the Revised Treaty of Basseterre Establishing the OECS Economic Union.
