(Castries December 8, 2010)-The OECS Secretariat, in collaboration with UNESCO, organised a regional consultation on education as part of a process of developing a UNESCO Education Support Strategy (UNESS) for OECS and Barbados.

OECS Secretariat, Castries, St. Lucia, September 28^th, 2010. OECS Ministers for Education have decided to introduce the Caribbean Primary Exit Examination which is to replace the Common Entrance and Grade 6 national assessment.

OECS Secretariat, Castries, St. Lucia, September 9^th, 2010. A new and harmonized Common Entrance Examination for 6 graders in the OECS is to be discussed at the 21^st meeting of OECS Ministers for Education to be held in the British Virgin Islands from September 14^th to 17^th 2010.

Castries St. Lucia, Friday March 19^th, 2010, The OECS Secretariat holds a regional conference on Higher Education from March 22 to 24, 2010 at the Bay Gardens Hotel, Saint Lucia. The conference, which is being held under the theme Higher Education and Skills for National Development, has been organised in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, the World Bank, the Commonwealth of Learning and UNESCO.
