Tuesday June 21st 2011, At the recently concluded 53rd Meeting of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Authority, held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from 19-20 May 2011, Heads of Government agreed to the closure of the OECS High Commission in Ottawa, Canada by December 2011.

As the curtains came down on the Inet OECS Cycling Classic in Antigua and Barbudaon Sunday, June 5, 2011, Jyme Bridges of Antigua and Barbuda deservedly breasted the tape in first place. At his wheels in second place was Dominic Oliviere of St. Vincent and the Grenadines who rode valiantly to shrug off a great fight from Chiel Lefebure, a Belgium National who has lived in Antigua for the past two years, and rode for the home team.
