OECS Secretariat Supports Union Island Project PDF Print Email

The people of Union Island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are enhancing efforts towards reducing unsustainable livelihood practices as well as negative impacts on an environmentally sensitive area identified as the Tobago Cays Marine Park (TCMP). The Park is one of the demonstration sites to benefit from the OECS Protected Areas and Associated Livelihoods (OPAAL) Project.

Union Island ProjectThis is through the recently launched OECS Sustainable Livelihoods Project sub-project, which aims to provide employment opportunities specifically for low income households in the Tobago Cays Marine Park (TCMP) area.
