OECS Secretariat, Castries St. Lucia: Senior officials from the OECS Secretariat and its Export Development Unit (EDU), recently concluded talks in Barbados, towards mobilizing donor resources for implementation of support programs for the private sector in the sub-region. 

OECS Secretariat, Castries St. Lucia September 18th, 2009: The OECS Electronic Government for Regional Integration Project (EGRIP) will be officially launched on Thursday, September 24th 2009 in Saint Lucia. Ms. Karlene Francis is the Project Manager of the Regional E-government Unit which is responsible for implementing the project.

OECS Secretariat, Castries St. Lucia September 8th, 2009: Over the next six months, six Protected Areas in the OECS have been earmarked for increased assistance through funding and infrastructural development. The assistance will be facilitated through the work of two interns who recently joined the OECS Secretariat under the OPAAL project.

This is among plans by the new head of the OECS Sports Desk Denis James: “Yes I will definitely try to see that cricket is on the OECS sports calendar.
