Castries St. Lucia, Friday March 19^th, 2010, The OECS Secretariat holds a regional conference on Higher Education from March 22 to 24, 2010 at the Bay Gardens Hotel, Saint Lucia. The conference, which is being held under the theme Higher Education and Skills for National Development, has been organised in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, the World Bank, the Commonwealth of Learning and UNESCO.

Castries St. Lucia, Wednesday March 17^th, 2010. The OECS Secretariat says a recent meeting of OECS Directors of Statistics will serve to inform critical approaches towards Statistical and Data Management.

(OECS Secretariat, Castries, St Lucia) The OECS Secretariat will next Wednesday (March 17^th) launch the fourth in a series of community projects in the district of Willis, on the north east of St George’s Grenada. The project is expected to provide new job opportunities for persons living near the Annandale and Grand Etang Forest Reserves – two protected areas, supported by the OECS Protected Areas and Associated Livelihoods (OPAAL) Project.

The OECS Electronic Government for Regional Integration Project (EGRIP) is being implemented by the OECS Secretariat’s, Regional E-Government Unit (REGU).
