Lucia, June 9, 2010, Dominica’s Director of Trade Eisenhower Douglas says the OECS Trade Negotiations Group (TNG) has a commendable spirit of integration through the sharing of best practices. His comments are part of his review of the 14^th meeting of the OECS TNG from May 26-27^th 2010: “It provided an opportunity for my colleagues in the OECS Member States to exchange ideas. All the divisions of trade in the OECS were actually represented.  So it’s a useful forum to exchange ideas and be brought up to date on how your colleagues in the departments of trade throughout the OECS are dealing with their day to day issues.”

Castries Saint. Lucia, June 8, 2010, Dr. Len Ishmael, Director General of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, on learning of his passing on 4^th June 2010, paid tribute to Honourable William Miranda Marin, Mayor of the Autonomous Municipality of Caguas (Puerto Rico).

Castries Saint Lucia, Tuesday June 2^nd, 2010. The OECS and CARICOM Secretariats jointly launched the Grenada leg of the CSME Trade and Competiveness Project (CTCP) on May 25^th 2010.  Similar launches have already been held in other OECS Member States.

Castries Saint. Lucia, Tuesday June 1^st, 2010. In the men’s individual competition, Joe Chapman of BVI earned the top prize defeating Charlie Sonson of St. Lucia in the final.  In an all St. Vincent and the Grenadines clash, Kevin Hannaway overpowered compatriot Kevin Bailey.

The men’s veterans 40+ category showcased some very close matches with Paul Cyrus defeating Mark Cyrus in an all Cyrus-all St. Vincent and the Grenadines final.
