The OECS Secretariat will observe World Aids Day with a Unity Flower laying ceremony and a balloon salute. 

Staff members will lay roses on behalf of the people of each OECS member state to signify hope and love, and release balloons to demonstrate support for persons affected by and infected with HIV/AIDS.

At Friday’s World Aids Day event, the OECS Director General, Dr. Len Ishmael will present the feature address.
