Antigua/Barbuda's delegation to the Grand Pavois Boat Show in La Rochelle, France are finding a number of people who have sailed in the internationally famous Antigua Sailing Week and have a strong interest in returning.

The delegation was reporting on day one of the September 7th to 12th boat show, one of the three largest in the world, at which Antigua/Barbuda joined the other OECS Member Countries in a sub-regional mission under the theme "Many Islands, One Sea".

he joint mission is being coordinated by the OECS Secretariat which expects to see an increase in yachting arrivals and revenue earned from the sector.

The delegation says there were several requests by persons interested in registering boats in Antigua and they expect interest in this area to grow as the boat show goes on.

The five members of the Antigua and Barbuda delegation are Anna Maria Joseph, Executive Secretary of the Antigua Marine Trade Association (AMTA); Fleming Niehorster, Secretary of the AMTA; Ian Mc Glashan and Roddy Grimes-Graeme also of the AMTA; and Madamè Preud homme, French Representative of the Ministry of Tourism.
