The Heads will be joined by OECS acting Director General Mr. George Goodwin, Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Sir Dwight Venner, and President of the Caribbean Development Bank Mr. Compton Bourne, for the round table discussion.

The announcement of the meeting came at the just concluded two-day OECS Heads of Government Summit on the Economy at which Heads discussed the down turn in their national economies and decided on an economic growth and transformation plan for the sub-region which would ultimately lead to the creation of an OECS Economic Union.

The World Bank leader has indicated he would like to hear about the challenges facing these small economies, and what the Washington-based financial institution can do to help at this time.

Mr. Wolfensohn also plans to present what he calls his 'millennium initiatives' to the meeting.
