Grenada will host the 45th Meeting of the OECS Authority next Thursday and Friday, May 24th and 25th.

The Meeting will be presided over by incoming Chairman of the Authority, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit of Dominica who will be serving for the first time in that capacity. He takes over from the outgoing Chairman, Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer of Antigua/Barbuda. The next phase of the work to create the OECS Economic union will be among the main talking points. The two day business sessions will be preceded by an opening ceremony on Wednesday afternoon.

During the Opening Ceremony Director General of the OECS Secretariat Dr. Len Ishmael is scheduled to update the OECS Heads on Developments and Vision of the OECS Secretariat.
