(OECS Secretariat, Castries, St Lucia June 6, 2006) THE OECS 25th Anniversary Lecture Series will continue on Wednesday in St. Lucia at the Indies Conference Room in Gros Islet.

Senior Lecture at the UWI Mona Campus’ Consortium Graduate School Dr. Vanus James will be addressing the lecture on the topic, “The OECS Economic Prospects 20/20 and beyond”.

The St. Lucia leg of the OECS 25th Anniversary Lecture Series will start at 7:00 p.m. This is the second in the series of lecture presentations held so far in observance of the 25th Anniversary of the Signing of the Treaty of Basseterre which formed the OECS in 1981.

The first OECS 25th Anniversary lecture presentation was held last weekend in Grenada under the auspices of the OECS Bar Association.

The OECS 25th Anniversary lecture series is part of the public awareness and participation exercises to enhance involvement in issues regarding the regional integration process.
