The book was opened following Mr. Charles' sudden death on Tuesday 6 th January, and remains available to the public until Wednesday 14th .

The Secretariat's delegation to the funeral is expected to present the condolence book to new Prime Minister Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit.

The 49 year old Mr. Charles died of acute heart failure as a consequence of left coronary artery occlusion.

He will be buried in his Grand Bay constituency on Saturday.

A delegation from the OECS Secretariat, led by Director General Dr. Len Ishmael, will leave Thursday for the funeral. The delegation is scheduled to meet the new Dominica Prime Minister on Friday.
