The OECS are “Guest of Honour” at the 2005 edition of the Grand Pavois Boat Show at La Rochelle, France. This gives yacht sector operators, associations, manufacturers, craftsmen and other suppliers to the 

yachting industry 1000 square metres of space to showcase their marine based goods and services, other goods and services and to seek investment opportunities. The region also benefits from the potential for major increases in visitor arrivals. Two thirds of the patrons to the boat show are sailors seeking new destinations to visit.

The Grand Pavois Boat Show has been in existence for the past thirty years and is regarded by industry experts as one of the top three international boat shows. An average of 600 exhibitors, representing nautical and tourism industries participate in the event. It attracts more than 100,000 visitors, two thirds of whom are regular patrons.

This year’s show runs from September 7 th to 12 th.
