Chief Minister Mr. Osbourne Fleming of Anguilla Chief Minister Mr. Osbourne Fleming of Anguilla continues to recover from kidney transplant surgery at the Jackson Memorial hospital in Miami.  Mr. Fleming had the operation on July 19th and remains in Miami for observation.

A team of officials led by Acting Chief Minister Mr. Victor Banks recently visited Mr. Fleming and heard that the new kidney is working well and that he hopes to be able to return home soon and resume his official duties.  The team spent several hours with Mr. Fleming and had dinner and breakfast with him.

Despite Mr. Fleming’s health condition, he took time out to be part of the OECS 25th anniversary activities in St. Kitts/Nevis in June this year.  He witnessed the raising of the new OECS flag and took part in the opening ceremony for the 43rd Meeting of the OECS Authority during which the new OECS Economic Union Treaty was unveiled.

Let’s remember Chief Minister Fleming in our prayers.
