David T. Popo is a national of St. Lucia, and received his secondary education at St. Mary’s College, in St. Lucia. David is a Sociologist and received his Bachelor of Science (Joint Honours) degree from the University of Wales Swansea, United Kingdom, majoring in Development Studies and Sociology.

Mrs Joan John-Norville received her early schooling in Saint Lucia and began her career in agricultural development as a laboratory technician with the Windwards Islands Banana Growers Association (WINBAN) now known as WINFRESH.    In 1983, Mrs Norville graduated from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in General Agriculture and returned to Saint Lucia where she served for twenty-four years in the Public Service.

Keith E. Nichols, Head of Unit, is a national of St. Lucia and pursued secondary education at St. Mary’s College. He received his first degree (BSc) in Natural Sciences from the University of the West Indies in 1981, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Affairs in 1992,

Melissa Mc Lawrence is a St. Lucian graduate in Secretarial Studies from the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. She has been employed with two of St. Lucia’s most prestigious companies M & C Group of Companies and the St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC).

Peter A. Murray is a national of St. Lucia, receiving his secondary education at St. Mary’s College.  He received his Bachelor of Science (General) degree from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus) in 1977, majoring in Biology.  Mr. Murray was awarded the degree of Master of Philosophy in Biology, also by the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus) in 1991.

Tecla Fontenard was born in the south west coast village of Choiseul, Saint Lucia, where she spent her formative years and completed childhood, primary and secondary education.  In 1988, she relocated to the capital of Saint Lucia, Castries, where she has since been based.

Vergille Tadia Xavier-Antoine is a national of Saint Lucia who received her secondary education at the St Joseph’s Convent, then attended the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College where she obtained a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.  While at the Convent, Tadia (as she is usually called) was involved in the St Joseph’s Convent Drug Free Club and represented the club at a Drug Free Conference in Orlando Florida in April 1990.
