Over 150 business firms engage in national training programmes across the OECS

edu_world_class_manu_01Castries August 6th 2010The OECS Export Development Unit, OECS EDU says at least One Hundred and Seventy-five companies across the nine members grouping are to benefit from an ongoing series of National Training Programmes. The workshops are supported by the 9th European Development Fund Caribbean Trade & Private Sector Development Programme.

OECS/EDU to conduct a series of National Training Programmes across the OECS

The OECS/Export Development Unit is mandated to increase exports from the OECS markets to regional and international markets. In achieving its mandate the EDU delivers technical and financial assistance to a client base of over three hundred companies (300) geared at ensuring products and services for export are competitive.

May 31, 2010 - The OECS Export Development Unit (OECS-EDU) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), in collaboration with the Government of Antigua & Barbuda, will be hosting professionals in the OECS music industry at a two-day training workshop in “Managing Intellectual Property in the Music Industry” June 1-2 at the Jolly Beach Resort & Spa.
