Introduction This HR Best Practices Kit was developed to assist Small and Medium Sized companies with the management and development of their most important asset - its personnel. The In-Plant implementation of the Human Resource CD will provide updated policies and procedures to assist companies in managing the human resource function so that organizational goals and objectives are more effectively achieved. The Human Resource CD will complement the work completed in the SMED (HOPE) Leadership workshops. Staff will be guided on how to implement these procedures and policies to ensure that they are effectively completed. HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL This manual is to be used as an easy reference for writing effective human resource documents for your organization. The examples used in the manual should be tailored to meet your own needs. The manual provides you with techniques for effective writing. You can copy any of the examples shown of these examples all suited to your organization.
